At Green Bay First, our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and aligned with the Assemblies of God Statement of Fundamental Truths. These beliefs shape who we are, how we live, and the hope we have for the world.

OUR CORE BELIEFS

JESUS CHRIST — We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and personal return.

THE HOLY BIBLE — We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

ONE HOLY GOD — We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

MAN — We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through sin is separated from God and in need of a Savior.

MAN'S ONLY HOPE — We believe that man can be saved only through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

HEALING — We believe in divine healing, provided for in the atonement and available to all believers today.

HOLY SPIRIT — We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues as the initial physical sign, and in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life.

LIFESTYLE — We believe in a life of holiness, separated from sin and dedicated to God, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

THE CHURCH — We believe in the local church as a body of believers united in purpose, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and called to carry out the Great Commission.

ETERNITY — We believe in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal separation for the unbelieving.
